IPADE Business School welcomed the Harvard Business School (HBS)-IPADE Advisory Committee, a meeting that reaffirms the strong academic and institutional relationship that both business schools have maintained since IPADE’s founding in 1967.
On this occasion, HBS professors Carl Kester and V.G. Narayanan met with leaders and faculty members from our institution to analyze emerging trends in executive education and their impact on leadership development.
The event began with a general presentation of our business school and an analysis of the relevance of the Case Method. It also addressed key challenges in today’s educational landscape: the integration of emerging technologies, adaptation to a constantly evolving social environment, and the strengthening of the alumni network—key elements for consolidating IPADE’s leadership in an increasingly globalized and digital education environment.
The conversation then shifted toward the future, with a strategic discussion on HBS’s vision and the role that innovation and technology will play in developing future leaders. Both institutions explored how to continue evolving in order to meet market demands and the challenges of digital transformation. The dialogue emphasized that success will depend on the ability to adapt and on forming executives with a global perspective, ready to lead in an increasingly dynamic and challenging world.
Over the past 58 years, the HBS-IPADE Advisory Committee has been a cornerstone in strengthening both the academic and strategic development of our institution and in consolidating IPADE’s long-term vision. It has also fostered knowledge exchange through the participation of distinguished HBS deans and faculty members, who have enriched the implementation of the Case Method, the cornerstone of IPADE’s pedagogical model.
Today, with a track record of shared achievements, both institutions look to the future with renewed enthusiasm, reaffirming an alliance that remains a benchmark in the world of business education.
