On June 8th, the IPADE community gathered in the second section of Chapultepec Forest to participate in the first edition of the IPADE Race, a charity sports event that brought together over a thousand people, including staff, alumni, participants, families, and friends.
The race offered various categories for all levels: a 3 km walk, and 5 km and 10 km races. Beyond the competitive spirit, the event had a charitable purpose: to allocate the funds raised to support the educational development of the Montefalco and the El Peñón Schools.
The Montefalco School and the El Peñón Foundation are a fundamental part of IPADE’s social responsibility, one of the pillars of our mission. Thanks to the collaboration of participants and supporters, these schools, which serve children, families, and communities in vulnerable situations, have the opportunity to continue developing, growing, and improving their conditions.
This partnership seeks to offer greater opportunities for academic and human development, aligning with IPADE’s commitment to generating a positive and lasting impact on communities.
The winners of the 5 km category were:
Female category: Claudia Alejandra Sánchez Aranda, with a time of 23 minutes.
Male category: Erick Duarte Caltenco, with a time of 17 minutes.
The winners of the 10 km category were:
Female category: Fabiola Estrada Díaz, with a time of 37 minutes.
Male category: Óscar Caltenco Cruz, with a time of 34 minutes.
The enthusiasm and participation exceeded expectations, making this first edition a successful event that brings the IPADE community together around sports, fellowship, and social responsibility.
